Film and serial actor and KSRTC Ex. Employee Shri. Kollam G K Pillai, 83, died at Chavara near here on Saturday night. Pillai, who has been away from the spotlight for the last four years due to vision impairment, had acted in over 4,000 dramas and 80 films. He acting career spanned over six decades.
Born to K P Gopalakrishnan and Kunjiamma in 1950, Pillai was an active presence in the theatre scene and acted in films while he worked as a KSRTC conductor.
