Even as Pulimurugan still remains a buzz at the box office, actor Mohanlal is now set to enthrall the audience in a domestic drama.
Just days ahead of the release of Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol, the actor unveiled the first theatrical trailer of the film on his Twitter page.
The trailer opens with Annyamma, played by Meena, complaining about her boring husband, who she says hasn’t seen her face for months. Then we are introduced to Ulahannan, played Mohanlal, who is dozing off in a public bus during the day time itself. His life seems to be dull and monotonous until he rediscovers the romantic side of him.
He becomes happy and charming once again. Starts smiling again. But, there is a problem. He seems to be falling for a woman, who is not his wife. And the screenplay gets more interesting from here. He seems to have not met “the other woman.” Is it a prank? Is someone messing with the man, who has been reeling under midlife crisis? We have to watch the film to know that. However, for sure, we know Ulahannan is head over heels in love with this faceless woman.
The partnership between Mohanlal and Anoop Menon is difficult to miss in the trailer. They both compliment each other very well, especially in comedy scenes. The chemistry between them is likely to be the highlight of this family entertainer.
Last week the teaser of the film featuring Mohanlal and Anoop was released and has already ramped up the expectations of the Malayalam movie goers, especially family audience.
Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol is loosely based on the Malayalam short story Pranayopanishad by V J James. Mohanlal plays the role of a Panchayat secretary and is directed by Jibu Jacob. The film also marks the reunion of Drishyam pair Mohanlal and Meena.
