KSRTC didn’t ply long distance routes on Tuesday as the BJP had called hartal, seeking Finance Minister K M Mani’s resignation over bar bribery scam. According to an estimate, the hartal had incurred a loss of Rs Five crore, due to slashing down of bus services.
The Transport Corporation officials said had, it been a normal day on Tuesday, the KSRTC would have got a collection of Rs Six crore.
