Bollywood actress Hema Malini now owns the MG Hector
Hema Malini, the veteran Bollywood actress and Member of Parliament has added a new car to her garage. The actress, who owns a wide range of luxury cars has bought the MG Hector.
A Mumbai-based car dealer took to social media to share that Bollywood’s original Dream Girl has bought the new MG Hector. The on-road price of the MG Hector is Rs 20,23,899, while the ex-showroom price is Rs 17,28,000. This is an SUV and it is a diesel variant.
As per the video shared by the dealer, Hema was looking for a very specific car that met all her needs. The Baghban actress wanted something that was a low height for easy ingress and egress. She also wanted broad windows that would provide a good view and something with an upright seating to help a straight posture. Hema found all of these in the new MG Hector.
Actually Hema Malini was told about Hector as her sister in law. Hema Malini also saw this car in the airport, after that, after taking a test drive, make up her mind to buy Hector.
It is worth noting that MG has recently increased the prices of all variants of Hector by 2.5 percent. After the price hike, the base model of Hector has now been priced at Rs 12.48 lakh as against the initial price of Rs 12.18 lakh.
MG Hector will get three engine options, 1.5 liter petrol, 1.5 liter petrol hybrid and 2.0 liter diesel engine. Talking about the same mileage, Hector Hybrid will give a mileage of 15.81 kmpl. While its petrol model will give a mileage of 14.16kmpl (manual) and 13.96kmpl (DCT). While its 2.0-litre diesel engine will give a mileage of 17.41 kmpl.
All these mileage are ARAI certified, MG Hector is the first internet car in the country. It has a 10.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system, it comes with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It is also the biggest attraction of this train. The overall design of Hector attracts and also provides plenty of space.
Hector has special features like a panoramic sunroof, push-button start/stop, 360-degree camera, tire pressure monitoring system, electronic parking brake, leather seat, 6 airbags, EBD with ABS and LED lamp.
