Bullet Ride to Pooyamkutty, Pulimurugan fame !!
Pooyamkutty is a small beautiful village situated on the banks of Pooyamkutty river, a tributary of river Periyar. Around 75 KMs from Kochi, the route which I took is Kochi – Muvattupuzha – Kothamangalam – Kuttampuzha – Pooyamkutty.

Recently (Oct 2016) this place became very popular since most of the scenes in the hit Malayalam movie Pulimurugan were shot in the forrest near Pooyamkutti. Also are scenes from another Mohanlal movie Shikkar. However, entry in to the forrest and same locations is currently not allowed due to elephants.
