Over 30 passengers travelling in a luxury bus of Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) had a narrow escape after the vehicle caught fire. The incident took place on Tuesday afternoon at Alair.
Telangana Transport Minister P Mahender Reddy has ordered an inquiry in the incident. The bus of Warangal-1 depot was on its way to Hyderabad when it was gutted in the fire near Alair, an official release said.

Senior RTC officials have been directed to submit a detailed report of the incident and asked to ensure that such incidents do not re-occur.
In Bangalore, A 58-year-old woman was charred to death and nine others were injured on Tuesday when a KSRTC bus carrying nearly 26 passengers caught fire near Arishinakuntte on NH 4.
In December, a bus burning incident took place in Madhya Pradesh too.
