Corruption by TTE in Indian Railways
It’s everyday practice of people to travel in reserved compartments of trains between Pune to Mumbai with general tickets. TTE (Travelling Ticket Examiners) demands Rs.30 to Rs.50 (sometimes Rs.100) from every such passenger as bribe to let them travel in reserved compartments with general tickets. In each compartment there may be 40+ such passengers.
