Drunk woman stopped for not wearing helmet, shoves cop, smashes phone on his hand in Delhi
Videos of citizens misbehaving with police officers are spreading increasingly on social media.
The latest video of a woman and man misbehaving and manhandling with Traffic police after the two-wheeler they were riding was stopped at Delhi has gone viral on social media.
The incident occurred on Tuesday near Mayapuri. The cops had stopped the duo for violating traffic rules by not wearing a helmet while riding.
In the clip, the Anil Pandey and Madhuri can be seen raging after traffic police halted their vehicle. The woman, who was pillion rider, became furious when the police stopped them as the scooterist wasn’t wearing a helmet.
She also snatched the vehicle’s key and caused a nuisance in the road, resulting in traffic jams.
Following the incident, the accused have been arrested. Police said that they were heavily drunk. On a complaint of the traffic police personnel, a case has been registered under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
In a similar incident on Sunday, two people were arrested for allegedly assaulting traffic police when they were impounding their vehicles in north Delhi. The accused, who were found drunken, started misbehaving when officials were seizing the scooty. A case has been registered and accused have been arrested.
