Following launch of new gen Eicher Skyline Pro Series light duty buses in Hyderabad and Bangalore, the range was launched in Pune today, and is a premium market segment series offering passenger safety and comfort.

Eicher Skyline Pro buses are available in school, staff and tourist variants. Seat capacity ranges from 36 to 60 High Head Rest and School bus seats as per requirement. Power comes from the Eicher E-483 engine, and longer bus length and width offers best seating layout in the saloon area, higher seat pitch for more leg space, and a wider gangway. Parabolic suspension and radial tyres improve passenger and driver comfort, and tyre life.
In addition to 36 well known features, Eicher Skyline Pro school buses offer individual retractable seat belts for safety of children. The front engine buses have the lowest first step and floor height. Eicher Skyline Pro buses came into being as a product line that upholds Volvo’s global expertise and Eicher’s frugal engineering as the company advances to build its commercial vehicle market presence. Skyline Pro Range is being manufactured at Eicher’s Baggad (Indore-MP) plant.
