Former Indian Cricketer Sachin Tendulkar’s Exotic Car Collection
Sachin Tendulkar enjoys a God-like status in a country that already has over 330 million Gods. His cricketing prowess has made him a huge celebrity almost the world over. It is the Master Blaster’s 45th birthday today and we are here to take a look at his great car collection.
BMW 750Li M Sport
One of the latest cars to have become a part of the cricketer’s car collection is the new BMW 750Li M Sport. The car has been customised to Sachin’s tastes. It rides on 20-inch V-spoke mag wheels and carries bespoke BMW Individual trim at the rear.
The car draws its power from a 4.4-litre Turbo V8 engine that outputs 450 BHP max. power and 650 Nm of peak torque. The motor comes mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The ultra-luxurious sedan can sprint to 100 kmph from a standstill in just 4.7 seconds. The car has an electronically limited top speed of 250 Kph.
BMW i8
Sachin also owns a BMW i8 Plug-in Hybrid Sportscar. He has even got the i8 in a new custom paint scheme of his choice. The i8 comes with a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine that outputs a max. power of 229 BHP along with a peak torque of 320 Nm. The internal-combustion engine is assisted by a hybrid synchronous motor that produces 130 BHP and 250 Nm. Hence, the sportscar can deliver a mileage of 47.45 kmpl!
BMW X5M
Sachin owned an Audi Q7 before he became a brand ambassador for BMW India. However, BMW India thought it only apt to replace Sachin’s Q7 with an X5 M50d that was specially imported into the country for the cricketer. The M treatment put the SUV amongst the fastest diesel SUVs back in the day. It came with a 3.0-litre 6-cylinder turbocharged engine that outputs 381 BHP and 740 Nm. However, his earlier X5 was replaced with the newer one in the recent past. The cricketer now owns a Melbourne red X5M. Even on the inside, the cricketer has opted for red leather seats. Sachin’s X5M is powered by a 4.4-litre V8 twin-turbo engine that outputs 575 Bhp and 750 Nm. This car is no less special than India’s only last-gen M50d that was earlier a part of Sachin’s garage.
BMW M6 Gran Coupe
Sachin owns India’s very first M6 Gran Coupe. Sachin’s Gran Coupe comes in a rare ‘Frozen Silver’ paint shade. Powering the M6 Gran Coupe is a supercar-challenging 4.4-litre V8 turbocharged engine that outputs 560 hp and 680 Nm. The motor comes mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission. The M6 Gran Coupe is easily one of the most gorgeous coupe-ish sedans out there and the M-livery makes it even more special.
BMW M5 30 Jahre
The Master Blaster owns one of the only 300 BMW M5 30 Jahre Edition cars ever built. Based on the fifth-generation F10 model, the M5 30 Jahre Edition gets the Competition Package as standard. The engine offers 592 BHP and 700 Nm. The Jahre Edition is the most powerful production-spec BMW M5 ever built. The M5 30 Jahre Edition can accelerate from a standstill to 100 kph in 3.9 seconds. The engine comes mated to a seven-speed M-DCT dual-clutch transmission.
BMW M5
Sachin also owns a pre-facelift version of the last-gen M5. The F10 M5 is powered by a 4.4-litre V8 engine that produces 553 BHP and 680 Nm. It comes mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. This M5 isn’t as lethal as the M5 30 Jabre but is still among the sportiest performance sedans across the world. With more than 550 horses and 680 torques, the M5 can give any supercar a run for its money.
