No permit for Saranya Bus, authorities taken the bus in custody.
Inquiries revealed that the ‘Saranya’ bus had plied in Vyttila – Kattappana while its permit was to Kumily from Kottarakkara.

Abdul was traveling from Trivandrum to Munnar, and the bus which you can see in the video is an Air conditioned contract carriage bus of Kyros, a division of Kondody group.
Operating contract carriage buses for taking passengers from one place to another by collecting a fixed amount of money as the ticket fare is illegal and only buses having stage carriage permits are supposed to do so.
Recently, Saranya motors, a leading bus operator in Southern Kerala has announced two new coaches to Amrita Hospital in Kochi from Kattakkada and Kulathupuzha. Both the services will be running as contract carriage services without a valid stage carriage permit.
Kerala State Road Transport Corporation has sent a letter to the transport commissioner for taking immediate actions against the illegal operation of contract carriage services inside Kerala which is causing a heavy loss for the state undertaking transport, KSRTC.
