India’s Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 copycat Chinese version

Following a Pakistan make Road Prince Digital Bullet 70 motorcycle being a stark copy of the Royal Enfield Bullet, the new Sigma Lion from China comes in as a copy of the Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 currently on sale in India.

Sigma Lion 150 motorcycle is manufactured by Chinese brand Zongsheng. It is imported and sold in Pakistan by Sigma Motorcycles and comes in with warranty of just 1,500 kms.

Sigma Lion is powered by a 150cc, liquid cooled engine made by Zongsheng. The engine is mated to a 5 speed gearbox but no power and torque figures have been revealed. In terms of features, the Lion gets a semi analog instrument cluster, 41mm conventional front forks and monoshock at the rear, alloy wheels and a dual disc set up in front.

All machines are imported and sold by a company called Sigma Motorsports in Lahore. Available in 4 color options, the Lion gets stickers called Super and Racing Blue.

It weighs a total of 130 kgs and gets projector headlamps, and all other design elements that bear a striking resemblance to the Bajaj Pulsar RS200. However, unlike the Bajaj Pulsar RS200, the Lion does not receive Anti-lock Braking System.

Sigma Lion is priced in Pakistan at PKR 2.80 (INR 1.58 lakhs). It is offered with a top speed of 140 kmph and company warranty of just 1,500 kms which would end in a single ride from Delhi to Mumbai.
