Kerala Railway Update : Trains to be regulated
Railways have announced regulations in train services for facilitating replacement of girder of a bridge in the Chengannur-Thiruvalla section, to take up track maintenance work at Koyilandy-Kozhikode section, and for ballast cleaning machine work at the Sankaridurg station.
Train 12223 Lokmanyatilak-Ernakulam Junction Duronto Biweekly Express will be regulated for 60 minutes en route, till March 28, for track maintenance in the Palakkad division. Train 13352 Alappuzha-Dhanbad Express will be regulated en route for 70 minutes on February 9, 95 minutes on 12, 60 minutes on 13, and 90 minutes on 16 to facilitate line block for ballast cleaning machine works at the Sankaridurg railway station. Train 12678 Ernakulam-KSR Bengaluru Intercity Express will be regulated for 60 minutes on February 9, 80 minutes on 12, 50 minutes on 13, and 80 minutes on 16 and 122815 Bilaspur Junction Ernakulam Junction Weekly Express for 35 minutes on February 13.
Train traffic will be regulated on February 7, 10, 14, 17 in the Chengannur-Thiruvalla section and 56393/ 56394 Kollam Junction-Kottayam-Kollam Passenger of February 7, 10, 14, 17 has been cancelled. Train 56381/56382 Ernakulam Junction-Kayamkulam Junction-Ernakulam Junction Passenger via Alappuzha of February 7, 10, 14, 17 will not be operated. Train 56382 Kayamkulam Junction-Ernakulam Junction Passenger via Alappuzha on these days has been cancelled.
Train 66308/66309 Kollam Junction-Ernakulam Junction-Kollam Junction MEMU via Kottayam of February 14 and 17 has been cancelled. Train 16382 Kanyakumari-Mumbai CSMT Express will run via Alappuzha on February 7, 10, 14, 17. Train 12625 Thiruvananthapuram Central-New Delhi Kerala Express will run via Alappuzha on these days. Train 16525 Kanyakumari-KSR Bengaluru Island Express will be regulated for 30 minutes at Chengannur on Feb 7, 10, 14, 17.
