Thiruvananthapuram: Transport minister AK Saseendran announced on Thursday that the government will disburse the salary and pension of Kerala State Road Transport Corporation(KSRTC) employees on Friday.
75 per cent of the salary and half of the pension amount will be given tomorrow.
“An amount of Rs 27.5 crore has been allocated unconditionally for this purpose. The amount will be taken from the deposits in KTDFC treasury,” the minister said.
The CITU had decided to conduct a strike from December 21 to solve the salary crisis in KSRTC.
