KSRTC inter-state schedules from Pampa
The KSRTC Pampa station will launch inter-state special schedules in a couple of days.To begin with, the special service to Chennai will be introduced in two days, Pampa special officer D Gopinathan has said. For launching the inter-state service, the Tamil Nadu Government sanctioned 30 permits to KSRTC the other day, controlling officer G Ajithkumar said.
The 30 permits to launch service to places include Chennai -6, Coimbatore-5, Palani-7, Thenkasi-3 and Kanyakumari-3, Rajendran said.
The Pampa station recorded a total collection of Rs 32.18 lakh till Saturday, Gopinathan said.The KSRTC sought the Karnataka Government to sanction permits to operate special schedules to Bengaluru and other important places from Pampa, he said.
The KSRTC Pampa station operated an aggregate number of 862 long-distance schedules till Saturday, Gopinathan said. It includes special schedules to Chengannur topped with 279, followed by Erumeli (136), Kottayam (11), Ernakulam (97), Thiruvananthapuram(94), Kumily (59), Pathanamthitta (41) and Kottarakkara (9), he said.
