About Kerala RTC
KSRTC aka Kerala State Road Transport Corporation is a public bus service run by the State Government of Kerala. It is one of the oldest bus services in the country. KSRTC was established in the year 1938 and is headquartered in Thiruvananthapuram, the capital city of Kerala. Originally recognized as the Travancore State Transport Department, its identity underwent a change post-independence. On April 1, 1965, the department received the status of an independent corporation.
