Lamborghini Urus: Watch a Rs. 3 Crore SUV getting delivered in Bangalore

The exclusive sports car manufacturer Lamborghini finally jumped on the bandwagon and launched their first-ever SUV – the Urus. With the rising popularity of SUVs around the world, the Italian manufacturer launched their first-ever modern-day SUV and it has already become a hit in the market.

Yes, we said modern day because Lamborghini has already launched the LM002 in the past, which was its first ever production SUV. In India too, the Urus is selling like hotcakes in all the corners of the country. It is also quite expensive and costs Rs. 3 crores. But how do you take delivery of such an expensive vehicle? Here’s a video that shows just that.

The video shows the fifth Lamborghini Urus delivery in the Bangalore city within weeks of its official launch. The Blu Eleos shade on the Urus looks special and it can be seen that inquisitive people gather around the showroom to witness the delivery. Almost all supercars and expensive cars are delivered inside the showroom and not in the car handover area like many mass-segment manufacturers do. Here too, the car can be seen coming out of the showroom.

With the crowd waiting to get a glimpse of the Lamborghini Urus, the Blue Eleos colour emerges from the showroom and carefully comes down on the ramp that has been set on the stairs. It is a sports SUV, the stairs are exactly not its forte! The Lamborghini Urus can be seen with the temporary registration number on the rear. It is quite possible that the owner has handpicked the registration number for the SUV. The latter part of the video shows a the Giallo Auge coloured Lamborghini Urus getting delivered from the same showroom. Both the cars disappear into the thick traffic soon after.

Lamborghini Urus is a Completely Built Unit (CBU) product and is imported to India from Italy straight from Lamborghini’s factory. Lamborghini calls it a Super Sports Utility Vehicle (SSUV) and it is one of the powerful SUVs in the world. The Urus uses a 4.0-litre Twin-Turbocharged V8 engine, which is mounted at the front of the vehicle. It produces a massive 641 Bhp of the maximum power of a whopping 850 Nm of torque. It gets mated to an 8-speed ZF transmission and is very quick off the mark.

The Urus also marks Lamborghini’s first-ever turbocharged engine as all the other vehicles are naturally aspirated and are bigger in size. The Lamborghini Urus can do 0-100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds, which is extremely quick for an SUV. It can reach 200 km/h in 12.8 seconds and the top speed of 305 km/h. The Urus weighs 2.2 tonnes and to ensure that it does not go out of control, Lamborghini has equipped the SUV with some state-of-the-art technology. It gets a central torsion differential with 4-wheel-drive and torque vectoring rear differential.

It also gets the 360-degree camera with surround view, a customised Bang & Olufsen 3D surround sound system. It also gets multiple driving modes with Strada, Sport and Corsa. Additional modes include Sabbia (sand), Terra (gravel), Neve (snow) and Ego (customisable) modes to take on various rough terrains.
