Delhi Metro and Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) will start their services late on Holi, which is on March 24. While Delhi Metro trains will commence services from 2.30pm onwards whereas DTC’s bus services will be available from 2 pm.

 “City, NCR and interstate bus services will remain suspended till 2 pm. The services will resume on some selected routes in the evening shift as per traffic requirement,” a DTC spokesperson said. He added that only 866 buses will be operated in the afternoon service since the traffic load will be very less on the day.
DTC has also issued instructions to its staff to check incidents of teasing in the buses. In case of any such incident, drivers and conductors have been instructed to take the bus to the nearest police station or PCR van, the spokesperson said.
