Transport commissioner T.P Senkumar issued a notification that Conductors of every stage carriage including KSRTC shall wear name plate made up of either plastic or any clothing materials stitched to the pocket which exhibits Name and Badge number of the conductor. The size of the name plate shall be 8xl.5 cm.
The letters shall be in Malayalam or English (In block letters) in Black color on white background. The nameplate shall be displayed on their left chest above the pocket.
There are many complaints about the bad behavior of conductors of stage carriages. Exhibition of nameplate will help the public to identify the persons and they can file complaint against them if they are not behaving well. Thus, the number of such complaints can be reduced to great extent. This will also help to provide a more responsible public transportation system to the public.
