Even after existing a huge demand from the people of Malabar, the authorities of KURTC (A Subsidiary of KSRTC) has neglected the northern most districts Kannur and Kasargod again.
Remaining all other districts has got brand new Volvo AC buses after the inauguration of Kerala Urban Road Transport Corporation. Kannur and Kasargod has only got one Tata Marcopolo Non AC buses.
People from Kasargod, especially the people who work abroad was keep on demanding to upgrade the existing Kozhikode Airport – Kasargod Fast Passenger bus to an AC Bus. But the authorities are not keen on it.
There are so much of feasible routes in Malabar which KSRTC can fetch the revenue easily by running such premium services. Unfortunately, the officials are blind when it comes to Malabar.
