A one-way ticket from New Delhi to Leh at just Rs. 1,365?
If you enjoy long journeys by road, this one’s the most scenic you can get in North India. The 1,203 km journey from Delhi to Leh via Manali, which takes around 33 hours to complete, is certainly the most challenging way to enjoy Himachal Pradesh.
The bus service, which restarted after a long 8-month winter break, costs Rs 1,365 for a one-way ticket. That includes bragging rights for having travelled along one of the longest and highest routes in the world, passing some of the most iconic roads in the Himalayas including Rohtang Pass, Baralacha Pass, La Changla Pass and Tanglangla Pass.
Launched by Himachal Road Transport Corporation to promote tourism in the area, HRTC has a structure in place where the buses and the drivers change mid-journey at Keylong to ensure your safety.
A luxury bus service from Manali to Leh with an overnight halt at Keylong is also available for an amount of Rs 2,700, which includes cost of accommodation, along with breakfast and dinner.
