driver, who suffered a heart attack, steered a Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation bus carrying around 60 passengers to safety before dying in Salem on Sunday night.
P Rajapandiyan, 55, of Rasipuram in Namakkal district was working as a bus driver in TNSTC Salem division. On Sunday night, he was driving a bus to Salem Railway Junction from the Old Bus Stand when he suffered a heart attack.
He parked the bus on the roadside before collapsing. Passengers rushed him to Salem Government Super Specialty Hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.
