KSRTC (Kerala) and SETC are operating election special services from Bengaluru.The state elections in Kerala and Tamil Nadu will held on May 16. Tickets to various destinations across these states have been selling like hot cakes and most of the buses towards major destinations are running full.
To tackle the election rush, both Kerala State Road Transport Corporation and State Express Transport Corporation of Tamil Nadu will operate election special buses.
SETC will operate additional buses on the existing routes across Tamil Nadu from Bengaluru.
Kerala State Road Transport Corporation will operate superfast services to Kannur, Thalassery and Kozhikode and Silver Line Jet Services to Kottayam and Kozhikode. According to officials, Karnataka State RTC will not operate any buses for election services.
