Team KSRTC Blog, (Online activists group behind the website https://www.aanavandi.com/blog) have demanded the State government to cut Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus ticket fares following the decrease in diesel prices. During a week long protest on the blog as well as their facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/ksrtcblog) which is having around 3 Lakhs followers.
Addressing the followers of their facebook page and blog, Team KSRTC Blog Editor Sujith Bhakthan said that State government can not say that KSRTC is in loss and it can not cut the ticket fares. Though the Central government has decreased the diesel price six times in last five months, the State government is deaf and dumb about cutting ticket fares. Diesel price has been decreased by Rs 6 on an average and both KSRTC and private bus ticket bus fares should be cut accordingly, he demanded.
Blog Members Antony Varghese, Vaisakh ML, Prasanth Sasik and Jos F Scaria were present among others behind this online campaign.
