The Nadan Kala Mela (Rural arts festival), the exhibition and sales fest is going on December 24 to 31, 2015 at Thrithala, Palakkad. This fest is organised by the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Development Department, KIRTADS and yuvajana kshema board. Naadan Kala Mela will showcase the traditional artforms of Kerala such as Koodiyattom, Thullal, Kolkkali, Duffmuttu, Chavittunadakam, Krishnanattom, Theyyam, Kurumbar Nirtham, Kaanikkar Nirtham, Kalaripayattu, Kaadar Nritham, Elelakkaradi, Paniyar kali, Mudiyattom,Man Kali, Parvallikali, Thavalakali, Edaya Nirtham,Koorankali, Naikkar kali, Gadhika, Kambara nirtham, Vadakkanpattu and Nadan Pattu. Some of the tribal groups including the Kurichiars, Velans, Chola naikans, Paniyas, Kurumans and others ethnic to Kerala will be participating this fest. This Expo includes many stalls on sale bamboo, cane and driftwood artefacts, varities of tea, honey and spices.
KSRTC Operates Special Services to Vellayankallu Paithruka Park , which is the venue of Paithrukolsavam 2015.
