A driver of Tamil Nadu’s transport corporation risked his life to ensure the safety of his passengers.
The bus, which was on its way to Tanjaore from Chennai, met with an accident near Villupuram district on national highway. As a truck rammed into this government bus, heavy iron rods pierced through the front glass pane, injuring the driver. The driver, who suffered severe head injury and was bleeding profusely, cared little for his well being and drove the bus to a safer place to ensure safety of all his passengers.
While nobody was hurt in the accident, they were shocked to see the bleeding driver and immediately rushed them to a nearby hospital. All the passengers were grateful for the driver’s brave act and couldn’t thank him enough.
